Everyone knew how The Division took off when that was released. The Division is still being played as we speak. Ubisoft knew how The Division was, and wants to make The Division 2 much better.
All the players are going to have much more content to seek from the start, but Ubisoft has some post-launch DLC plans. Ubisoft teased on what those plans are.
During an interview with The Koalition via GameRant, senior Producer Tony Sturtzel stated that additional PvP modes are coming as free DLC. He also mentioned the PvP maps, and how they are being tuned for better quality experience. Sturtzel stated:
“There definitely will be more modes added as free post-launch content. Out current goal is to ship this game with a few maps uniquely built for the best PvP experiences. Our decision to create from an endgame-first mentality means that fans can expect more content drops in the future after completing the campaign. Additional story-driven missions and map expansions will also be free. As our ongoing commitment to keep our dedicated community energized and playing.”
They also stated that the dark zone experience will be improved from The Division. Also next month they are planning to have a private beta, to also tweak some bugs that they might be having.
