Diablo Immortal can’t be played offline

Recently, at this year’s Blizzcon it was revealed that Diablo Immortal will not work offline for mobile devices. In fact, it was revealed by the game’s lead designer Wyatt Cheng. Yet, this isn’t something new for mobile games as most games require an internet connection constantly.

Additionally, the game will be online only for its multiplayer elements. Not to mention, that you can join other parties with players that are online in the same area. Also, the Battle.net feature adds a social touch to the game.

Regardless, the game’s demo shown at Blizzcon was well received by those who played it. Of course, this was after the backlash which Blizzard would assume people would get over once they started playing the game.

Comment below on what you think of Diablo Immortal being an online exclusive game. Also, if you liked this article why not share it on social media. In other news, Battlefield V’s map voting feature will not be available at launch.
