More Cyberpunk games for 2020
Dex, a side-scrolling cyberpunk open-world RPG, is coming to the Switch this July.
The game came out in Early Access in 2014 then had its full release in 2015 for PC. In 2016 Dex launched on other platforms with July 8, it ported to Xbox One, July 12 for PS4, and December 20 on PS Vita.
Developers at Dreadlocks Ltd. aimed for a “throwback to earlier 2D platforming and action games” while blending together “modern RPG elements.” Like any open-world RPG, players can explore, fight, and talk with NPCs, along with the cyberpunk elements that add in the ability to hack.
Dex received mediocre to poor reviews from critics. On Metacritic, its average across all platforms is 61.75.
Switch owners can play Dex on July 24.
If you have played Dex, will you pick it up on Switch? For those of you who haven’t and own a Switch, will you pick up the cyberpunk RPG? Let us know all of your thoughts in the comments.
