Destroy All Humans is a remake of the 2005 open-world alien action game
A new game from Black Forest Games and THQ Nordic is coming soon. The 2020 remake of 2005’s Destroy All Humans will release on July 29th. And, although the game features the same missions and voice acting as the original, there are a lot of new features to explore.
The new remake will follow the same story as the original, with improvements in some key areas. Players will follow the story of alien invaders of Earth, looking to steal Furon DNA from humans to survive. Moreover, players will be able to explore the world as alien Cryptosporidium 137 with much improved visuals. The game is a predominantly an open-world action game, in which the player completes mission to harvest DNA. While the spirit and humour of the original has been preserved, the game has updated cutscenes and gameplay.
Players can use a range of abilities to defeat enemies and travel the world of the game. Cryptosporidium 137 has weapons like the Zap-O-Matic, as well as psychokinetic powers, at his disposal. And, he can disguise himself as humans, helping him to hide. A flying saucer and jetpack help travel across the maps. Finally, for protection, the player has a shield of sorts. Oh, and Focus Mode allows the player to instantly kill enemies.
The game will be available on PS4, Xbox One, Windows and Google Stadia. If you want to see a little about the Destroy All Humans before release, here’s the official reveal trailer from 2019:
