A new patch out on December 3 for Death Stranding will address issues requested by players. The 1.06 update will hope to fix two primary problems, “network functionality” and “various performance improvements”.
Kojima Productions confirmed the patch in a Twitter post on November 27. In the statement, the studio promises players “the ability to increase text size or dispose of individual vehicles”.
The information provided at this time is all fans will receive regarding the patch update, with Kojima Productions revealing very little else.
Following his departure from Konami and the success of the Metal Gear series, Death Stranding marks a return for Hideo Kojima as a director. The Eurogamer review described it as “grandiose and goofy, liberating and frustrating, thrilling and audaciously dull.”
Death Stranding is out on Playstation 4 now with an anticipated summer 2020 release date for PC, according to Polygon.
