Accordingly, Miles Tost of CD Projekt Red wanted to touch base on what the game will actually be. Yet, he does see the resemblance to Grand Theft Auto Miles feels the game will be more confined compared to the sandbox nature of GTA V.

“Our game will provide a lot of side activities to engage outside the main task,” said Miles. Whether it’s side quests or encounters waiting for you in the streets of Night City, it’s developed by us with much love and care. While it’s humbling to compare our game with GTA, we’re looking for a different story-driven experience. This does not mean we’re stopping players from fooling around and experimenting.”
