A Nintendo Switch release of Cyberpunk 2077 may be considered according to an interview with CD Projekt Red officials.

A representative from CD Projekt Red gives us this impression with the statement: “… Not yet. … It [Cyberpunk 2077] might be too heavy for it, But then, we did put Witcher 3 on it and we thought that would be too heavy too but somehow we pulled it off.”. While this is a clear indicator that Cyberpunk 2077 has more content than The Witcher 3; it could mean that a Nintendo Switch release will be much further down the line, if at all.

It seems that the possibilities are too broad to pin down a confident yes or no for Cyberpunk 2077 to come to the Nintendo Switch. However, we believe that as long as the Nintendo Switch continues to grow; it’s a strong likelihood that CD Projekt Red will consider a port. Also, It took two years of technical challenges for “The Switcher 3” to come to fruition so Nintendo Switch users may be waiting for some time.
