Alright, so you might want to give your other halves a word of warning before launching Cyberpunk 2077 next year. Things are about to get, shall we say, rather immersive when it comes to the explicit nature of the CD Projekt Red title. Yeah – you know what we’re talking about.
CD Projekt has informed anxious fans in previous interviews that Cyberpunk 2077 will, in fact, be played from a first-person perspective. But what the developer also let slip recently was the fact that a lot of in-game sex scenes have already been mocapped, too. So, that means we’ll be getting full-throttle explicit material as opposed to strategic button-tapping over a blank screen. Or, at least that’s what our sources tell us.
I think we can lend a hand to CD Projekt for tackling this rather awkward area with such confidence. It’s not every day we see developers approach the topic with huge amounts of comfortability – let alone be willing to strap cameras to actors foreheads for a more immersive gameplay experience. For that, I think we can give CD Projekt Red a standing ovation.
In a recent Q&A session with CD Projekt Red, a certain rosy-cheeked fan raised the topic of in-game sex scenes. Half expecting the idea to be shut down due to breaking too many rules, fans were surprisingly reassured that the game would ‘satisfy everyone’s needs’ – whatever that means. I guess we’ll find out in four months, eh?
Cyberpunk 2077 will launch on the 16th April 2020 on PS4, Xbox One, Google Stadia and Windows.
