Cyberpunk 2077 is currently being developed and as of yet we have no release date and we don’t think we will be receiving one any time soon by the looks of it.
However, we do know that the game is currently playable from start to finish, as Cyberpunk 2077 producer Richard Borzymowski confirmed in an interview with Engadget at Gamescom 2018, However, this does not mean it is ready for release as there are still plenty of bugs and assets missing.
Richard Borzymowski also spoke about the story in Cyberpunk 2077 and goes how to say how they want to make it personal and not just make another “save the world” story.
“The punk part in cyberpunk stands not only for rock and roll and sex and drugs and whatever. It also stands as a fight against the system.
We want to always keep it personal. We don’t want to tell a story about rescuing the world. We don’t want to basically destroy the system. … It’s not just another part in this cyberpunk-industry cliche machine.”
Cyberpunk 2077 launches on PC and consoles on a yet to be confirmed release date. While there is no release date yet we have received new screenshots of the game which you can check out here.
