Call Of Duty Warzone has seen many rumours pointing to a March 10th release date and today after we covered that ads started popping up on Twitch for Call Of Duty Warzone. Activision has now released a trailer and announced the game will be releasing March 10th free for everyone.
The free-to-play battle royale game – will be available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Now you don’t need 2019’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, however, if you do own Modern Warfare, then Call Of Duty Warzone will be playable a bit earlier for you. With Modern Warfare owners, Warzone begins at 8:00 a.m. Pacific, and then Warzone will go live for everyone at 12:00 p.m. Pacific.
Warzone also features a respawn system, though it is completely different to how we have seen before. Warzones respawn system is called Gulag in which fallen players will have the opportunity to fight in a one vs one after there first elimination to earn a redeployment. Contracts (“objective-oriented tasks”) and Cash (the in-game currency) will be another way that you can bring your friends back into the game. “For varying prices, you can purchase Killstreaks, Redeploy Tokens to bring back fallen teammates, Self-Revive Kits, and more”
For those who own Modern Warfare you will need to download around an 18-22GB” Warzone update, now for new players, the download size will be around 83-101GB download”.
Warzone will also see a cross-progression system, meaning all the stuff you have earned in Modern Warfare will also be usable in Warzone.
