Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Warzone has been dealing with a cheating problem for a while now. With it driving many people away or making a lot of console players turn of cross-play so they don’t get matchmade with PC cheaters.
Infinity Ward is trying to take as many measures as possible, to try to combat the cheaters. Now Infinity Ward come out a few hours ago to announce some changes that would be coming sometime this week, which will try to combat all the cheaters. The most interesting one is the fact that it will try to matchmake all suspected cheaters together.

PLAYERS IN WARZONE AND MODERN WARFARE WHO REPORT SUSPECTED CHEATERS WILL RECEIVE CONFIRMATION IN-GAME WHEN A PLAYER IS BANNED
- DEPLOYED ADDITIONAL DEDICATED SECURITY UPDATES
- UPDATED MATCHMAKING TO MATCH SUSPECTED CHEATERS TOGETHER
- INCREASED RESOURCES ACROSS BACKEND TECH, STUDIO, AND ENFORCEMENT TEAMS
- REPORT-A-PLAYER FUNCTIONALITY TO KILLCAM AND SPECTATE MODES
