Cadence of Hyrule – Demo Out Now On Switch eShop

Cadence of Hyrule: Crypt of the NecroDancer Featuring The Legend of Zelda

For those of you out there who love a spectacular original soundtrack, and are a massive fan of The Legend of Zelda series. Then I implore you to try out the rhythm game ‘Cadence of Hyrule’.

The demo has just released on the European Nintendo eShop, and you can start the download on whichever device you are using to read this (desktop, laptop or tablet), doing so will automatically download the demo to your Nintendo Switch! Unfortunately we have no news at this time when it will hit the American eShop but it has already released in Japan…

Personally, I cannot praise this title enough; you will draw yourself quickly into the music of this phenomenal game and be bopping your head in time with the music before you realise it. You will end up being lost and mesmerised by this Cadence’s wondrous melodies. It is a fantastic entry to the Zelda franchise! Though it might not be a Zelda title like the others that you have grown accustomed to, it is something else entirely and is truly beautiful to behold.

Cadence of Hyrule: Crypt of the NecroDancer Featuring The Legend of Zelda is its the official title. It is game by the developers of Crypt of the NecroDancer, the rhythm game for PC, which even allows you to add in your own custom music to play too, which is just astounding.

The premise is quite simple, Cadence demands you to move at the time of the beat, and it plays breathtakingly well. You time your movement,Ā  action or to be more precise, everything you do to the time of the beat. It might seem daunting at first but give it time, and you’ll be hitting that beat without realising it.

Once again, this demo is worth a try, I whole-heartedly recommend it.

Hey, my name is Mark, I am 29, video game enthusiast! My earliest memory was playing Worms on the Amiga against my Godmother, yes the Amiga, massive box type thing, needed eighty-five thousand floppy disks to play one game, maybe a slight exaggeration, those were the days! I love RPG's, and The Legend of Zelda series. Dogs are pretty awesome.

Have your say!
