Today is a good day to be a Minecraft fan or someone who was interested in trying the game out. Because in celebration of the smash hit phenomenon Minecraft 10 year anniversary, the classic version of Minecraft is now yours for the price of absolutely free all thanks to Mojang.
You can play the free version of Minecraft with this URL which leads to the free version: https://classic.minecraft.net/
However there is a catch to this offer. You are restricted to playing in creative mode and have no access to survival or hardcore mode in which means there are no enemies such as Zombies, Endermen or even the iconic Creepers to fight. But you are free to invite up to nine of your friends to build your own world by simply sending them a invite to your world’s server.
Unfortunately there is currently no way to save your progress in the browser which means eventually you will have to say goodbye to all your work and effort. But some players have a way to counter this issue by always keeping the tab open infinitely to prevent it from disappearing.
Since this is the classic version of Minecraft, you are limited to only 32 different types of blocks (with most of them being dyed wool) and all the bugs and glitches from that version is still there as well. But you can however build as much as you want with no limitation what so ever.
So what do you think of this new way to play Minecraft? Let us know if you think this free version of Minecraft is a good idea or not? Let us what exciting creations you made during your time playing Minecraft!
