Black Ops 4 Blackout Mode will be “Well Balanced”
Black Ops 4 is going 100 percent in the Multiplayer route this year which honestly didn’t shock anybody. Earlier this year they announced “Blackout Mode” which is their take on the trending Battle Royale Mode.
In an interview that PC gamer had with Jonathan Moses and Thomas Wilson as they made it clear that Black Ops 4 is aiming to be the “Best PC version of Call Of Duty”. If you are a PC user you should be excited and if you want to see the specs we have covered that too, which you can check out here.
We also know that in the Blackout mode there will be weaponized vehicles of land and sea.
Treyarch’s director of communications John Rafacz had this to say:
“There’s a range of vehicles that I think are well-balanced to match with the on-foot combat. It isn’t like you’re driving a tank, trying to fight against a dude with a scavenged submachine gun. They’re all well-balanced. We’ve been having a lot of playtests at Treyarch over the last several months getting ready for this, and it’s a blast to play. It feels great. It feels like Black Ops.”
They would be questioned over concerns about Call Of Duty recycling the same loadouts from past games and they would have a good response that kinda won me over.
“It’s an extremely coherent presentation,” says Rafacz, “but on top of that, it’s ten years of heritage of Black Ops put together, through weapons, characters, environments, vehicles—land, sea, and air. There’s a lot there to dig if you’re a Black Ops fan.”
Call Of Duty has been around for a very long time across many console generations and has been suffering from series fatigue. On the other hand, Blackout mode might help it stay relevant if it’s done well. If you have preordered Call Of Duty Black Ops 4 you will have access to the Blackout Beta which takes place next month.
If you want to see more info on the Call Of Duty Blackout Beta we covered it here.
Will you be trying out the Blackout Beta? Do you still buy Call Of Duty yearly? Lets us know in the comments as we love your feedback
