As of late, its been revealed that an update will come out soon to Battlefield V and its battle royale mode Firestorm. In fact, the game’s global community manager Dan Mitre posted on Twitter on the news as he seems excited about the game:
“Can’t wait to start talking about Firestorm! Everyone at the studio has been pouring their passion for Battlefield into the mode (and early play tests show that dedication!). Our focus next week is Tides of War, so inherently we’ll have an update on Firestorm.”
Of course, we’ll have to see how Battlefield V can hold up against Fortnite and PUBG. Especially now that Call of Duty Black Ops 4 is on the scene with Blackout. Though 64 players split into 16 teams sounds interesting. However, we’ll have to see when ideas are put on paper when the time comes on November 20th.
