Battlefield V Gets A Second Closed Alpha Next Week
After the first Battlefield V which took place at the end of June, fans of the game wanted more and after seeing leaked dates suggesting another testing fans got excited.
EA has now confirmed that there will be another Alpha test, which will begin on August 14 (but will be available for pre-load the day before). Ea stated in a blog post today that the test is built directly from the initial alpha test.
This is what Ea had to say:
“The second Closed Alpha is built directly from the first Closed Alpha and it will not contain any content like maps, modes, weapons, and vehicles. However, there are a few important changes we want to evaluate with you.”
They have made some changes, however, to better cater players across all play styles and skill levels based on how fast players scored points, and how quickly they progressed through the ranks in the first Closed Alpha.
As well as this they have made improvements to the matchmaking and fixed issues related to joining squads. EA says they are doing this to check “server stability”, backend connectivity, and matchmaking.”
This isn’t the Beta most people were hoping for and sadly if you didn’t have access to the first test you won’t have access to this one either.
Will you be playing the Alpha? let us know in the comments. Also if you enjoyed this article why not share it on social media.
