During the recent Nintendo Direct event, Ubisoft announced the launch of the Assassin’s Creed: The Rebel Collection for the Nintendo Switch. This set will include the games Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag and Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered. While these games have both released in the past, this is the first time they will be seen on the switch.

While these games will be fundamentally the same as their previous console releases, they will see some optimization updates for the Switch’s hardware, along with minor updates.   When they announced the collection Ubisoft stated “This exclusive compilation includes enhanced features for the Nintendo Switch system, such as Handheld Mode, HD Rumble, Touch Screen Interface, Optimized HUD, and Motion Control Aiming.

Also, even though there has been no announced release date as of yet. Aside from that, hopefully we can see some really cool features added to the The Rebel Collection and see how Ubisoft decides to tackle some of the games more interesting mechanics with a switch port.
