Anthem loot system is different to that which you may know from other games such as The Division which allows you to trade loot.
In Anthem loot will be based on the Javelin you are wearing and players will not be able to trade loot. BioWare’s Mark Durrah confirmed this on Twitter.
Not only will players receive loot which will be useful for your Javelin but you will also receive other loot as well which will be tradeable at vendors or may be suitable for other Javelins you control.
It will be biased to the Javelin you are currently using but other things will also drop. https://t.co/FLZE3TgGJG

We will have to see how this system works fully when the BETA comes around which is supposed to happen early next year. After the BETA feedback, I’m sure BioWare will make the need changes to improve the game.
As well as the loot system, Javelins will also be customizable allowing players to modify their suits, you can check that article out here.
Anthem is releasing on PS4, Xbox One, and PC in February 2019.
