Anthem Gets More Details on Open-World Encounters, Checkpoints, Progression, and More

Mark Darrah who is the executive producer for Anthem has struck yet again, The past few weeks on twitter he has been giving out information about the game.

Today we did learn in the current build of Anthem that Flight and air travel will be Toggle and the ability to do barrel rolls in such will depend on the javelin you are using. You can run into other players since this is an open world game but there can only be 4 players in an instance. Which means if you have a team of 4 then you will not run to any random player which can be good or bad depending on the type of player that you are.

During the missions, there will be checkpoints so if your team gets knocked out during a hard battle don’t worry as they will be back at the checkpoint. Currently, there is no photo mode in the game but Mark Darrah did comment on that saying ” certainly will want to try to get it in.”

We also learned that after reaching the level cap that the game still has a lot to offer as there will always be a reason to gain experience points. The last thing we learned is that a collectors edition for Anthem is highly unlikely to happen but it is still possible.
