The Rust map is coming to Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare. The classic Modern Warfare 2 map has been added to Season 2’s content. Furthermore, Infinity Ward is treating players with a 1v1 playlist for the desert map. So, for players who enjoyed Rust in the original Modern Warfare 2, will have the opportunity to settle old scores. It may be one of the smallest maps within the franchise, but Rust remains one of the most fun.

1v1 Rust is expected to debut sometime next week, with no official date yet confirmed. It will be, however, worth the wait, considering the popularity of the map. Rust is a part of the launch for Season 2, available to players who own Modern Warfare, which launched on February 11. As well as Rust, there are plenty more maps available, and a Battle Pass.

Modern Warfare recently revealed a new patch. The update made multiple playlist tweaks and weapon changes, with all updates now available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. To begin with, there’s the Custom Gunfight mode. Added to the rotating playlists, it’ll allow players to use custom classes. Shipment, a map quite similar in its layout to Rust, became the new 24/7 map after Shoot the Ship. Plus, the map can be experienced back to back across various modes.

The update also included Deathmatch Domination, but Infinity Ward sadly removed Winter Dock… Meanwhile however, Capture the Flag was moved into the Quick Play Filter.
