Top Gear is a show that has been much beloved by fans for many years (since 2002 to be exact). Since then it has practically been the number one source for showing off a range of vehicles, but most importantly all those super cars. Ones such as the Koenigsegg One, the Bugatti Veyron and pretty much any Lamborghini! Well, what a better way to add to that experience than to team up with the masters of racing themselves, Turn 10 Studios who create both Forza Horizon and the Forza Motorsport series.
Available now in Season 11 of Forza Horizon 4 is a Top Gear add-on which features a brand new story and some shiney, new vehicles. Get ready to make all those poor British farmers feel like they need to sell their John Deere’s when you blow past them in your Track-Tor. A suped up version of a tractor, with spoiler included. Something that you would definitely not want to see coming your way during your leisurely stroll through the countryside!
“Top Gear Horizon Special”
This crossover add-on with the BBC hit show is called “Top Gear Horizon Special”. The story incorporates 7 brand new challenges, which are narrated by Chris Harris himself and even feature The Stig! After hitting the road at high speed and blasting through the missions, you will find yourself in the posession of some goodies. These include:
- An “I am The Stig” T-shirt
- The Stig Race Suit
- The Top Gear Project E-AT
- Mercedes Benz G63 6×6 Sports Utility Truck
- And of course, the Top Gear Track-Tor
Seems like a swish little package if you ask me! With Top Gear produced in England, it goes hand in hand nicely with Forza Horizon 4 which is also located in our beautiful little island.
Accompanying this content will also be some changes. The Auction House will now be capped at a maximum of 20 million credits, and a class-based rivals system has been introduced which you can read more about here.
If you were hoping to see the legendary, Hammond, Clarkson & May then you’re a bit out of luck. However, here’s to hoping that there is an add-on for “The Grand Tour” in the future!
