Jedi Outcast and Academy Set for Switch and PS4 Re-Release

A long time ago, in a galaxy back in 2002 we got one of the greatest Star Wars games of all time: Jedi Outcast. A year later we got its sequel: Jedi Academy. And this year they’re coming back on Switch and PS4. 

Announced via a Nintendo Direct last night, Jedi Outcast will be the first of the titles to launch, when it releases on September 24th. There’s no official release date for Jedi Academy at time of writing, though it’s currently set for early 2020. Jedi Academy is also set to feature multiplayer maps featured in the original title.

The ports will be handled by Aspyr Media, who have recently titles including Call of Duty, Civilization and Borderlands.
